Job Overview

A cloud-native software engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and monitoring cloud-based applications in the AWS ecosystem. They should possess a strong skill set that enables them to mentor junior engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive operational excellence through infrastructure as code.

The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of design patterns, algorithms, data structures, and experience with scalable, fault-tolerant, and resilient cloud-native applications. They should also have expertise in message queueing and notification services, container technologies, serverless services, and continuous integration and deployment.

Additionally, the candidate should have strong debugging, functional and non-functional testing, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, observability tools, and monitoring frameworks.

Desirable qualifications include AWS certification for developers or DevOps professionals, knowledge of event-driven architectures, test automation frameworks, and exposure to AI/ML and regulated industries.
