Enrolments Administrator

Cox Purtell is partnering with a prestigious independent school in the Upper North Shore to find a new Enrolments Administrator to join their Enrolments team of six staff, reporting to the Director of Enrolments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality administrative and functional support to the Enrolments team to successfully fulfil enrolment procedures and initiatives.
  • Monitor communications intended for the Enrolments team and forward and/or respond accordingly.
  • Oversee administrative aspects of the Enrolment process, including the coordination of enrolment interviews and pre-commencement information and events for incoming students.
  • Assist future parents to enrol and prepare for the commencement of their child to the school.
  • Oversee the provision of resources required for the Enrolments team, including marketing collateral.
  • Data enter and update records of prospective students/parents when updates are required.
  • Assist with and attend School Open Events during and after school hours.
  • Provide cover and support to the Enrolments Administrator as required.
  • Conduct tours of the School for prospective families when necessary.
  • Coordinate Enrolment Events.
  • Coordinate the interviews for future students with Heads of Schools.
  • Assist with the coordination of the annual Scholarships Program.
  • Coordinate the pre-commencement process, events, and information for new mid-year and Term 1 student starters.
  • Communicate regular updates in enrolment status to relevant School departments.
  • Demonstrate ability to project manage and work with diverse groups within the School and the external community.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing with families regarding the progress of their child's enquiry/application.
  • Conduct all communication with students, staff, parents, and members of the School's community and external entities in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Ensure all written communication is courteous, professional, accurate, and reflective of the professional standards of the School.
  • Contribute towards the development of effective communication through developing positive and professional relationships with all staff.
  • Consistently adhere to School policies and procedures, including Risk Management, WHS, Child Protection, and emergency response practices.
  • Report directly to the Principal on any matters relating to child protection.
  • Remain abreast of updates to the CRM and student data systems.
  • In partnership with your manager, continuously align your skills and professional development requirements to ensure that you are meeting the obligations of your role.

  • Possess an advanced knowledge in Microsoft applications, with an emphasis on Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word.
  • Willingness and ability to adopt a flexible approach to work tasks and manage changing priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to work positively and productively in a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ability to demonstrate professional conduct and discretion at all times.
