We are seeking multiple Enrolled Nurses to join our Condell Park team, providing permanent part-time positions with a 31-hour to 73-hour fortnightly schedule. The rate is from $35.62/hr + superannuation + salary packaging.
Pay rates are determined by the total number of hours worked as an Enrolled Nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Manual Handling and Hoist Experience: Assist customers with mobility deterioration.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and ensure proper documentation of medication records.
- Implement strict routines and provide high support needs care, including PEG feeding, epilepsy, and acquired brain injury.
- Work on a 24/7 rotating roster, weekends, and demonstrate flexibility.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to support customers in developing and maintaining independence.
- Support customers with personal care, including bowel care, manual handling, and other health and hygiene needs.
- Undertake various household tasks, including mealtime management and liaising with GPs, care coordinators, RNs, and allied health.
- Attend to medical emergencies and provide first aid as required.
- Registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Diploma of Nursing or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
- Registration with the medication notation is highly preferred, or willingness to complete a Board-approved qualification in administering medicines within 12 months of commencement.
- Valid working rights, current Driver's Licence, and confidence to drive an accessible van.
- NSW Working with Children Check NSW & Blue Card QLD, NDIS Worker Check, and Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
