Job Description

The WT office in Sydney is expanding, and we're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

This role will involve performing various quantity surveying functions, including estimating, planning, and cost management. You will work closely with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

You will also be responsible for identifying and facilitating new business opportunities, as well as master-planning and feasibility budgets. Additionally, you will need to cost-check developing designs, tender evaluate and analyze, manage cash flow projects, procure materials, and report costs accurately and timely.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Full working rights in Australia and currently located in Australia
  • RICS / AIQS accreditation highly regarded
  • Proficient in the use of Cost X
  • Thorough understanding of the total project life cycle from conception through to completion and post-project review
  • Highly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clients
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and control multiple projects/client commissions
