Job Title

A challenging role is available for a skilled Mechanical Maintainer to work in the beautiful Hunter Valley. This is a permanent position offering long-term stability and career growth opportunities.

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading organization that generates over $10 billion in Foreign Direct Investment. Our coal mines are located across NSW, Queensland, and Western Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance duties in the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant (CHPP)
  • Perform routine and breakdown maintenance activities
  • Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
  • Provide timely responses to maintenance issues to ensure targets are met
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including production and safety enhancements
  • Assume supervisory and/or planning roles as required
Key Requirements:
  • Hold a formal Mechanical trade qualification (Fitter/Boilermaker)
  • Have proven experience in CHPP or heavy industry
  • Be able to communicate effectively with team members
  • Bring a proactive approach to problem solving under pressure
  • Hold industry-relevant qualifications (High Risk licenses)
  • Have strong computer literacy, preferably with SAP system knowledge
  • Experience in supervision and/or planning is advantageous

In addition to technical expertise, this role requires a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, commitment to safety, ability to work in a dynamic team environment, and a 'can do' attitude towards challenges.
