Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Security Specialist to join our team at Vertali APAC Pty Ltd. As a Mainframe Security Specialist, you will play a critical role in enhancing our security processes, practices, and remediation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for Mainframe z/OS and RACF environments
  • Develop and implement security principles, processes, and hardening measures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into daily operations
  • Guide and mentor junior team members on security best practices
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand and address security requirements

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science or a related field (desirable)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in a Mainframe z/OS and RACF environment
  • Strong knowledge of REXX and automation skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
