Job Overview

This is a high-level leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple water infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in civil or utilities contracting, a deep understanding of utilities infrastructure, particularly water and wastewater, and the ability to add value through early contractor involvement and engineering-led problem solving.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage concurrent water infrastructure projects
  • Take full accountability for safety, commercial performance, program delivery, and quality outcomes
  • Engage closely with the tendering and commercial teams from early bid stage through to completion
  • Oversee a strong support team, including:
  • Dedicated HSEQ resources
  • Post-award commercial and project controls support
  • A CA or QS on each project
  • Manage 6-10 direct reports (depending on the size of projects)
  • Report directly to the General Manager
  • Work flexibly across office and site (2–3 days expected onsite or in the office each week)
