We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer - Dams/Civil to join our team at Entura. As a key member of our hydrology team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of water resources projects, including dams, hydroelectric power plants, and water infrastructure.
With a strong background in civil engineering and hydrology, you will have a deep understanding of Australian hydrological and hydraulic practices, including current design guidelines and standards. You will also have experience with hydrologic modeling and flood forecasting using industry-standard software, as well as strong programming skills in languages such as R or Python.
As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders, and for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of water resources projects, including dams, hydroelectric power plants, and water infrastructure.
