Business Analyst - Finance Transformation

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team and contribute to the optimization of business processes, gathering requirements, and supporting system enhancements across the D365 F&O platform.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our finance transformation initiatives. As a key liaison between our finance business users and the functional/technical team, you will ensure solutions meet business needs while maintaining operational integrity in a complex and highly customised setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct end-to-end business analysis activities across projects and BAU workstreams, focusing on Finance modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash & Bank Management
  • Lead workshops and stakeholder interviews to capture and validate business requirements, pain points, and future-state goals
  • Analyze, map, and document as-is and to-be business processes
  • Work closely with functional consultants, providing them with clear, structured requirements to support FDD creation
  • Engage in the review of functional design and solution proposals to ensure alignment with business needs
  • Assist in test planning and execution by defining acceptance criteria, preparing test scenarios, and coordinating UAT
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Accounting experience with a strong understanding of financial processes-particularly GL, AR, AP, Cash & Bank-and how they are supported in ERP systems
  • A willingness to learn Business Analyst skills and translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements
  • Strong proficiency in process mapping, stakeholder engagement, and business impact analysis
  • Skilled in using Azure Dev Ops or similar tools for managing user stories and backlog items
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence, challenge, and align diverse stakeholder groups
