About the Role

As a Department Team Leader at Spotlight Retail Group (SRG), you will play a key role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in our stores. We are seeking a motivated and experienced retail professional to lead our sales teams and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in managing daily operations and achieving sales targets
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and sales results
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotions to drive sales growth
  • Manage stock levels, merchandise, and visual merchandising to meet business standards
  • Assist in recruitment, training, and development of team members
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and implement stock integrity initiatives to boost department profitability
What We're Looking for
  • Proven retail management experience with a strong track record of sales growth and team leadership
  • Preferred experience in high-volume or big-box stock management
  • Owner's mindset in leadership style with a passion for driving results and inspiring teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Proficiency in computer skills with experience in retail software and systems
