Strategic Financial Analyst Role

We are seeking an accomplished Strategic Financial Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving operational and financial performance through financial modelling, analysis, and reporting.

  • You will own the delivery of the group forecast, ensuring timely and accurate financial information is provided to senior leadership.
  • Partner with team members to standardise forecasting processes and communicate the forecast across the team effectively.
  • Develop insightful reports and presentations to effectively communicate how core operating and financial drivers (actuals and forecast) are performing relative to budget and market guidance.
  • Identify trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to Executive and Board reporting with driver-based analysis, including financial tracking and advice against profit and loss performance.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Expert proficiency in financial modelling and MS Excel (incl. macros) to translate commercial performance drivers into flexible modelling tools for senior management decision support.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools and reporting platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Finance Business Partner to dedicated departments.
  • Assistance with formulating best practices and guidelines for financial models.
  • Creation and review of financial models to support business cases.
