Strategic Financial Analyst - Global GrowthJob Description:

Coates Group is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Analyst to join our global team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing critical financial insights and analytical support to drive business growth and strategy.

This role requires strong technical skills, including advanced Excel abilities and proficiency in financial modeling. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, business planning, or commercial finance, with a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.

The Strategic Financial Analyst will work closely with senior leaders to develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgeting processes. This includes creating and managing financial models, analyzing data, and identifying trends and areas for improvement.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the development of strategic initiatives, such as pricing models, margin analysis, and contract risk assessment. Additionally, they will assist with special projects, including system upgrades, process standardization, and data governance.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, business planning, or commercial finance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fast-paced, complex organizations.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting tools (CPM tools like Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, etc.) (preferred).
  • Understanding of statistics and data science principles combined with some understanding of programming languages and SQL/database querying (preferred).
