Job Overview

We are seeking a Patient Services Assistant to join our dedicated ICU team at a leading private hospital.

This role involves providing supportive care to patients and their families within the unit. The successful candidate will assist the clinical team in the provision of services and care for patients, including patient transfers, manual handling activities, stock organisation, cleaning and general duties.

The Patient Services Assistant will report to the Nurse Unit Manager and work with a diverse team driven to exceed high standards of care.

Required Skills And Experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
  • Be customer-focused and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
  • Understanding the importance of infection control and manual handling guidelines.
  • Basic Life Support Training is a must.
