Key Roles and Responsibilities

Elevate your career as a Customer Delivery Driver with our dynamic dnata catering team at Canberra Airport.

As a key member of our airside team, you will be responsible for loading catering onto aircraft, guiding vehicles for safe approach, and working with airline cabin crew to ensure everything is correct.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive short distances and perform basic vehicle checks, including refueling.
  • Safely load and unload trucks and aircraft with catering, carts, and ovens, ensuring any discrepancies are followed up on.
  • Guide and position trucks in line with company, airport, and airline policies.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Airline cabin crew for aircraft servicing and delivery hand over.
  • Coordinate with dispatch aircraft timings and flight delivery allocations.
  • Administrative documentation, reporting, and general cleaning duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Clean MR or HR driver's license required.
  • Ability to perform frequent manual handling tasks.
  • Safety First Mindset, always be aware of surroundings, practice proper techniques per our company standard training.
  • Flexibility working around flight schedules is essential.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Neat and tidy presentation.
  • Clear National Police Check required.
  • Availability to work 38 hours/week, as this role is a full-time permanent position.
