We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Graduate to join our dynamic team based in Sydney. As a leading international law firm, we actively seek talented individuals from diverse backgrounds to enrich our culture and performance.

Our Finance Graduate Program provides the tools to build a successful finance career, promoting an integrated approach to learning and development for early talent. You'll have rotations through different areas within our Finance team, including Treasury operations, Financial Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and in-depth rotations through other operational areas.

You'll be supported by sophisticated data and Business Intelligence (BI) tools to assist in areas of financial analysis and reporting. The program also offers a range of formal and informal learning opportunities, CA/CPA qualified mentors to support you through your professional accounting qualification.

Key Highlights:

  • Observing and 'on the job' learning in all areas of Finance within our Shared Services group
  • Assisting in the preparation and analysis of reports, including monthly management reports, group financial results, and financial statements
  • Gathering and analysing financial information on cost, pricing fundamentals, expenses, and revenue
  • Participating in finance and operational projects, as well as ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Attending relevant internal training sessions, team meetings, and other firm information sessions
  • Keeping up to date with industry-related issues and developments to enhance personal performance/development
  • Building relationships across all groups and teams, looking for ways to cross-skill and collaborate

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, or Economics, or majoring in Accounting
  • Desire to enrol in the Australian CA/CPA program
  • Curiosity to learn and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to get involved, roll up your sleeves, and immerse yourself in the learning and experience on offer
  • Strong numerical skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office products
