Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Desk Analyst to join our team at the Archdiocese of Brisbane. As a Service Desk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal technology customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and assistance to internal technology customers via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Triage and troubleshoot support requests to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Participate in hardware deployment projects and troubleshoot network and infrastructure incidents.
  • Maintain and develop knowledge base articles to assist in resolving common issues.
  • Collaborate with other Technology Solutions functions, including Desktop Support, Infrastructure, Procurement, Business Solutions, Projects, and Leadership.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience supporting computer hardware and software, particularly Microsoft products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of LAN/WAN infrastructure and front-line customer service.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting ability and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Minimum tertiary studies in Information Technology related disciplines or equivalent experience.
  • Current Australian Driver's License.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Understanding of Active Directory and client deployment tools.
  • Experience with PowerShell or scripting.

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to build rapport with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
