Seeking a Volunteer to Enhance Community ServicesWe are looking for individuals who can contribute their expertise to support our community service organisation. Our goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.This role involves working on a volunteer basis, contributing to the growth and development of our Service, Enterprise & Risk Advisory Committee. As a member of this committee, you will be part of a team that aims to improve our services and ensure they meet the needs of our community.The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the community services sector, including expertise in practice governance, complex service provision, lived experience and consultation processes, and contemporary understanding of consumer experience engagement and strategy development.Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide guidance and support to our staff in delivering high-quality services
  • To contribute to the development of new strategies and initiatives to enhance our services
  • To collaborate with other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
  • To participate in regular meetings and updates to ensure effective communication and progress monitoring
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in social work, community services, or a related field
  • Proven experience in community service delivery, particularly in the areas of practice governance and complex service provision
  • Strong understanding of consumer experience engagement and strategy development principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
