Delivering Housing Excellence: A Construction Leader Role
The primary objective of this position is to lead the construction process on social and supported housing projects. The successful candidate will oversee site delivery, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and adhering to strict safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Manage site operations for medium-density builds
- Coordinate construction in line with program requirements, budget constraints, and safety guidelines
- Ensure site compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Building Code of Australia (BCA), and relevant standards
- Supervise trades, site teams, and project timelines
- Oversee site safety, cleanliness, inductions, and inspections
- Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and consultants
- Communicate directly with clients to facilitate a smooth handover
This role requires an experienced professional with 5-10+ years' experience delivering medium-density builds. The ideal candidate will possess proven leadership and stakeholder coordination skills, solid knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards, and OHS, and a Certificate IV in Construction Management or trade background. Strong Microsoft Project and documentation skills are also essential.
