We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) professional to join our team as an HSW Advisor - Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in driving our HSW strategy forward, ensuring that our workplace remains free of preventable injury and illness.
Reporting to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead, your primary objective will be to deliver expert HSW advice and service, supporting the application and continuous improvement of our HSW Management System (HSWMS).
Your Key Responsibilities- Enabling a Positive HSW Culture: Empower leaders across all business areas with knowledge and guidance to adopt a proactive HSW mindset and lead by example in safe work practices.
- Proactive Coaching: Coach and guide leaders in best practice health, safety and wellbeing management.
- Relationship Building: Build relationships and provide effective operational advice, support, coaching and guidance to Leaders.
- HSWMS Expertise: Provide advice, interpretation and guidance on application of the HSWMS, as well as leading practices and legislative/regulatory requirements.
- Solution Identification: Identify gaps and determine, prioritise, evaluate and recommend appropriate solutions aligned with Milwaukee's strategic objectives.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively across the business to identify, elaborate and drive improvements and integration of the HSWMS.
- HSW Governance: Contribute to HSW governance and reporting.
You will have a Cert IV in WHS combined with solid working experience of Model WHS Act, Codes of Conduct and Regulations. A minimum 3 years' experience in delivery of HSW advice and service, with relevant industry experience and the following attributes:
- Effective Communication: Effective communication skills, with an ability to import knowledge and coach others.
- Influencing Change: Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across a diverse organisation.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes to win/win positions.
- Industry Knowledge: Sound understanding of ANZ Workcover and related requirements preferred (not essential).
- Technical Skills: Experience in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio).
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and well organised.
- Dynamic Environment: Experience within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
As an HSW Advisor - Compliance Specialist at Milwaukee Tool, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, we offer a range of great employee benefits, including:
