The Opportunity

We integrate Health, Safety, and Wellbeing (HSW) into all that we do, fostering a culture that has HSW as a core value and supports our vision of providing a workplace free of preventable injury and illness. Reporting to the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Lead, the key objective of this role will be to deliver HSW advice and service, supporting the application and continuous improvement of the HSW Management System.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Enable a positive health, safety, and wellbeing culture across all Milwaukee business areas, empowering leaders with the knowledge and guidance to adopt a proactive HSW mindset and lead by example in safe work practices.
  • Proactively coach and guide leaders in best practice health, safety, and wellbeing management.
  • Build relationships and provide effective operational advice, support, coaching, and guidance to leaders.
  • Provide advice, interpretation, and guidance on the application of the HSWMS, as well as leading practices and legislative/regulatory requirements.
  • Identify gaps and determine, prioritize, evaluate, and recommend appropriate solutions aligned with Milwaukee strategic objectives.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to identify, elaborate, and drive improvements and integration of the HSWMS.
  • Contribute to HSW governance and reporting.

About You

You will have a Cert IV in WHS combined with solid working experience of the Model WHS Act, Codes of Conduct, and Regulations. A minimum 3 years' experience in the delivery of HSW advice and service, with relevant industry experience and the following attributes:

  • Effective communication skills, with an ability to import knowledge and coach others.
  • Demonstrated experience in influencing and driving change across a diverse organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence outcomes to win/win positions.
  • Sound understanding of ANZ Workcover and related requirements preferred (not essential).
  • Experience in various MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized.
  • Experience within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
