About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and forecast resource requirements, advising on reallocation, contractor engagement, or recruitment needs.
  • Manage signal engineering effectively, rolling out approved processes to teams in consultation with the Engineering Manager-Signal.
  • Nurture junior staff, assessing design capabilities based on skill matrices within our Content Management System.
  • Conduct independent reviews of designs produced by other regions when required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in rail signalling design projects.
  • Experience dealing with diverse customers and stakeholders.
  • Formal rail design competency approvals under Australian/New Zealand operator regulatory frameworks or ability to attain.
