Job Title: Intermediate Accountant – Business Advisory
">- We are currently seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in Darwin. As an Intermediate Accountant – Business Advisory, you will be responsible for handling a range of accounting tasks, including producing financial reports, preparing management accounts, and preparing BAS and tax returns for various entities.
- Your key responsibilities will include:
- Producing & maintaining financial reports using Xero, MYOB, and Reckon software.
- Preparing tax returns, FBT, and financial statements for different business entity types.
- Preparing BAS and IAS returns.
- Calculating and reconciling payroll tax.
- Preparing management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and KPIs for clients.
- Assisting with the development of junior colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have established accounting experience, a relevant tertiary qualification, and be studying or aspiring to achieve CA or CPA qualifications. They will have experience preparing tax returns for various entities for small to medium-sized businesses and the ability to generate financial statements and management reports.
