Accounting Professional Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to join our Business Advisory team in Darwin. This role involves handling a range of accounting tasks including producing financial reports, preparing management accounts and preparing BAS and tax returns for various entities.

About the Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing and maintaining accurate financial reports using Xero, MYOB and Reckon software
  • Preparing tax returns, FBT & financial statements for different business entity types
  • Preparing BAS & IAS returns
  • Calculating and reconciling payroll tax
  • Preparation of management accounts, cash flow forecasts and KPI's for clients

You will work closely with the Director and other senior team members to assist with providing advice and delivering a range of accounting solutions to a diverse client base.

About You

The ideal candidate will have established accounting experience, relevant tertiary qualifications and be studying or aspiring to achieve CA or CPA certifications. They should have experience preparing tax returns for various entities for small to medium size businesses and be able to generate financial statements & management reports. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, be proactive and personable.
