Field Service Professional

We are seeking a skilled professional to handle the installation, maintenance and repair of our equipment across Western Australia.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement technical service functions for our equipment.
  • Perform equipment installations, preventive maintenance and repairs on our equipment.
  • Interface with customers via customer visits, telephone calls or emails to provide quality product support.
  • Diagnose faults, perform urgent repairs and participate in a rotating weekly after-hours-on call roster.
  • Provide applications/user/technical training.
  • File product complaints according to company procedures.
  • Assist with spare parts inventory management for various products.
  • Identify training needs and make recommendations.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance and troubleshooting documentation.
  • Document and update internal procedures.
  • Manage and maintain equipment/spares database file through accurate documentation of movement, tracking and repair statuses.
  • Deliver a superior level of customer after-sales support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Essential Qualifications:
  • A trade certificate or technical certificate/diploma with strong hands-on technical service experience.
  • A restricted electrical license is required.
  • Experience in troubleshooting, repair, modify, overhaul or refurbish standard and special-purpose equipment and systems components.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel within New South Wales.
  • Flexibility to carry out work duties occasionally beyond ordinary working hours.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • A full electrical license is an advantage.
  • Able to operate a computer and have an intermediate understanding of DOS and Windows as well as proficient in Microsoft Office software packages.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary to manipulate tools and equipment to perform essential functions.
