The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cyber security and be able to develop, review and publish expert cyber security guidance and technical advice.

Major Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support technical publications, including research, scoping, technical consultation, review and publishing.
  • Produce novel and unique advice and assistance on contemporary cyber security issues.
  • Research emerging technology and apply contemporary knowledge to identify information gaps, cyber security trends, vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop actionable cyber security mitigation strategies.
  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment.

**Skills and Experience Required**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, such as computer science, computer forensics, information security or information technology.
  • At least 5 years' experience in cyber security.
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Experience managing projects is desirable.

**Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum**

This role is based in Canberra, ACT and offers a contract term of 8 months with two possible extensions of 12 months each.

Candidates require an active Baseline clearance for this position and must be willing to undergo pre-employment checks.
