The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Manager to join our Program, Projects, and Portfolio (P3) team. In this role, you will lead a team of project managers and coordinators, driving a culture of professional development, performance, and open communication.

You will be responsible for managing strategic projects, developing project management resources, and ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. Your expertise will enable our teams to deliver high-quality initiatives to internal customers in Product and Go-to-Market teams.

You will also work closely with other members of the Programs and Delivery group to improve operational processes, drive cross-functional projects, and support the growth of a world-class technology delivery team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead larger project teams in a fast-paced, modern business environment.
  • Deliver on commitments and balance priorities while navigating areas of conflict in an open, positive, and proactive manner.
  • Improve business processes across complex teams and organizations, leveraging your experience in managing complex projects.
  • Apply different project management approaches, including agile, iterative, and waterfall methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development, empowering team members to grow and excel in their roles.
  • Balancing the needs of individuals with the needs of the business, demonstrating exceptional stakeholder management skills.
What You'll Bring
  • Proven track record of managing and growing teams, with a strong focus on leadership and people development.
  • Excellent understanding of financial and business operations processes, with the ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, building trust and rapport quickly.
  • Experience working in a cloud-based environment, with a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and project management principles.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
About the Opportunity

Xero offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. We also provide generous paid leave, dedicated parental leave, employee assistance programs, health insurance, and many other benefits that reflect our human values.
