Senior Community Coordinator

About the Role:

  • Oversee a team of staff to create an exceptional living experience for residents.
  • Establish a welcoming environment where residents feel at home and supported.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including maintenance, service providers, and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Connect with Residents: Ensure all residents' needs are met with a smile, being the go-to person for both residents and staff.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Oversee village operations, coordinate with service providers, and attend quarterly advisory board meetings.
  • Deliver Resident Satisfaction: Listen to concerns, solve problems, and ensure residents are happy, healthy, and thriving.
  • Organize Engaging Activities: Plan events, from themed dinners to gardening clubs and fitness classes.
  • Lead with Empathy: Lead a passionate team committed to resident wellbeing.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional people management skills with leadership ability.
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting and financial reporting experience.
  • Proven experience in asset management, preferably in property, facilities, or retirement living.
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on resident wellbeing.
  • Operational management experience with organisational, consultative, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and online applications).
  • Resilience and problem-solving abilities.
  • Customer-centric approach prioritising resident satisfaction.
  • A genuine love for working with seniors.
  • Compassion and understanding of independent living senior needs.
