About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker in SIL support space to join our team on a casual basis. You will be responsible for providing exceptional support to a range of clients.

As a Support Worker, you will support people living with disability by:

  • Providing person-centred active support to participants in one-to-one settings
  • Assisting in the creation and monitoring of individual goal plans or following planned programs, as directed
  • Completing required documentation and progress notes as required
  • Promoting a stimulating, caring and culturally appropriate environment for participants
  • Providing any required self-care, social and emotional support to participants
  • Using positive behaviour support strategies and authorised restrictive practices where required
  • Willing to complete sleepover shifts attending to participant needs
  • Maintaining appropriate and effective communication with all stakeholders, including Team Leaders, peers and management
