Disability Support Specialist

Dignity and Transition Support Services are seeking dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Specialists to join our team. As a key member of our support network, you will play a vital role in empowering participants to live their best lives.

As a Disability Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing personalized support and care to NDIS participants with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and personal grooming
  • Fostering independence and promoting participant well-being through encouragement and guidance
  • Building rapport and engaging with participants to establish meaningful relationships

Key requirements for this role include:

  • Certification III or above in Disabilities, Mental Health, or a related area (or currently studying)
  • NDIS Blue and Yellow Screening Card or ability to obtain these
  • Current Queensland driver's license and registered car with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • Basic knowledge of smartphone usage and operation
  • COVID-19 vaccinations
