Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Lawyer/Lawyer to join our Legal team in Sydney with flexible working options.

This is a permanent role allowing for a balance between office time and remote work.

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Property Lawyer to provide strategic and risk-balanced legal advice and services across Australian activities.

You will be a business-facing, hands-on professional responsible for advising on a broad range of matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage property-related legal matters including commercial leasing, licences, and land access arrangements.
  • Support property acquisitions and disposals, mixed-use developments, and development matters from concept to completion.
  • Provide day-to-day strategic and commercially astute advice on property-related activity.
  • Advise on make-good obligations and enforce amenity provisions across the national leasehold portfolio.
  • Support client negotiations and transactions to achieve commercial outcomes.
  • Provide strategic direction and manage property disputes and litigation as they arise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Laws with 6-10 years of PQE.
  • Ideal experience at a highly regarded law firm in property law; in-house property law experience is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in developing and implementing legal strategies in a commercial context.
  • Highly self-managed with a dedication to meeting and exceeding key performance indicators.
  • Resilience to manage competing demands and a large volume of matters.
  • Strong partnering and influencing skills with a focus on delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Proven problem-solving ability and a drive to continuously improve processes.
