Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards while driving continuous improvement across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain ISO 9001 certification and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.
- Manage quality assurance and control processes to minimise product impact and customer complaints.
- Oversee incident reporting in the Visy Incident Management System (VIMS) and Noggin for safety and environmental compliance.
- Conduct HSEQ audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Collaborate with production teams to improve quality, reduce spoilage, and optimise held stock levels.
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture through awareness programs and training.
- Work closely with customers/Suppliers to address concerns, ensure compliance, and support label development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ISO 9001, GMP, and statistical process control (SPC). They will also have experience in managing customer/supplier complaints and quality improvement initiatives.
