Job Overview

We are seeking experienced HC/MC drivers for a challenging and rewarding role that involves working with temperature-sensitive produce, ensuring safe and timely handling of company freight, completing relevant pre-start checklists and safety documentation, interacting with clients professionally, and working closely with depot teams for loading, unloading and transportation of freight.

This is a full-time, permanent position with start times between 10am - 2pm. The ideal candidate will have a valid HC or MC licence and experience in this class, as well as previous refrigerated transport & container experience (preferred but not required).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with temperature-sensitive produce for local pickup and delivery runs
  • Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
  • Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork
  • Interacting with clients in a professional manner
  • Working closely with depot teams for loading, unloading and transportation of freight

  • A commitment to workplace health and safety
  • A motivated and positive attitude
  • Reliable and punctual with good communication skills
  • BASIC Fatigue Management accreditation (preferred)
  • Flexibility with start & finish times with the willingness to work weekends
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must:

  • Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
  • Provide a current traffic print out
  • Be well presented, professional and reliable with a strong customer focus
