About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Safety Specialist to join our team on multiple renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing project-specific documentation, including tender information, procedures, and safety management plans.
  • Investigating project incidents and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of new safety programs and training initiatives.
  • Interpreting safety data and identifying trends to proactively address any issues.
  • Communicating effectively with site operational leaders to foster a positive safety culture.
  • Being highly visible on site, engaging with employees and contractors to promote Monford's safety programs.

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A relevant Bachelor's degree or Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • A current Australian driver's license.
  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation in Western Australia.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based software applications.
  • Ability to work a 2/1 or 3/1 FIFO roster with Perth as the point of hire.
