Job Title

We are recruiting Home Care Assistants to support the independence of clients from diverse backgrounds in Melbourne.

The main location of work is in the South-Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

This is a casual position.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality care to clients during group activities and in client's homes.
  • Assist with activity delivery, personal care assistance, transport assistance (must be able to drive 12-seater van), and documentation/reporting as required.
  • Personal care, domestic support (cleaning, meal preparation, laundry), transport in your own car (to appointments, shopping, activity groups), in-home respite, providing companionship, and documentation/reporting as required.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care / Individual Support / Disability.
  • Ability to speak Khmer, Serbian or Dari is desired.
  • Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance (must be able to drive 12-seater van).
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • First Aid Certificate (within 3 years).
  • CPR Certificate (within 1 year).
  • Minimum 2 doses of the COVID-19 vaccination.
