Job Title: Academic Professional in Management and Marketing

We are seeking a highly experienced academic professional to join our team as a teacher of Management and Marketing units in a tertiary setting. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in teaching and curriculum design, with a strong understanding of the latest developments in learning principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the teaching teams and contributing to ongoing curriculum development and improvement of delivery of College units and courses.
  • Delivering lessons and workshops, preparing and revising learning and teaching resources.
  • Producing high-quality assessment tasks, administration, supervision, and marking of assessments, and participation in assessment task moderation and quality assurance processes.
  • Consultation with students and provision of academic advice & support if needed, consistently monitoring student progress and identifying and following up with students at risk.
  • Contribution to the effective operations of the Macquarie Learning Technologies Platform (iLearn) as required.

Requirements:

  • A postgraduate qualification in Management and/or Marketing or related field.
  • Extensive experience in teaching Management AND Marketing units in tertiary settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to consult and liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work both independently and co-operatively.
