We're looking for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Principal Temporary Works Engineer.

In this role, you'll be responsible for leading the development of safe, efficient, and innovative Temporary Works solutions across various infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with project teams to ensure that Temporary Works are designed and implemented in a way that meets our quality, safety, and risk requirements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have:

  • Strong technical knowledge of Temporary Works, including design and implementation principles;
  • Able to lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex Temporary Works projects;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools;
  • Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartership with Engineers Australia;
  • Degree qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop high-level staging and sequence of works for Temporary Works;
  • Engage with project teams to ensure Temporary Works meet our quality, safety, and risk requirements;
  • Provide holistic Temporary Works support across the engineering lifecycle;
  • Propose construction methodology solutions to effectively deliver high-risk activities;
  • Identify technical risks or opportunities that may impact successful project delivery.

This role requires a strong understanding of Temporary Works principles, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
