Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-intensity care to individuals with disabilities, especially those with complex medical needs. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living and lifestyle requirements, promoting their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and medication administration
  • Assisting with domestic tasks such as light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
  • Offering social support and transportation to clients, including shopping/groceries and travelling to medical appointments
  • Participating in sleepovers and shift work, including weekend shifts
  • Supporting clients in the use of aids and personal equipment, including standing or walking frames, wheelchairs and hearing aids
  • Monitoring the well-being of clients and reporting on their progress



Required Skills and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Australian Federal Police Clearance
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance required)
  • Smartphone with internet access
