Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Administrative Support Officer to join our Library Services team at Randwick City Council.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Library Manager and staff, including customer-focused reception, library desk responsibilities, and secretarial duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective customer service at reception via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions
- Respond to a wide range of enquiries, including requests for venue and bus bookings
- Provide purchasing and procurement support to all Randwick City Library staff
About You:
We are looking for a highly organized and administrative professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
- High School Certificate and relevant experience working within a professional environment
- Well-developed administrative, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated understanding of the roles and functions of library services to the community
