Student Forensic Intervention Experience

This placement provides a unique chance for students to gain experience in forensic intervention services, supporting rehabilitation and contributing to community safety.
Clinical PlacementsStudents will develop clinical knowledge and skills within a forensic setting, undertaking service delivery that includes individual work, assessment, case formulation, group-based intervention, supervision, and professional development and training.
Non-Clinical PlacementsNon-clinical placements are available to undergraduate students in psychology, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students in social work, criminology, legal studies, and related disciplines who have the option to complete a field placement or internship as part of their studies.
We seek students with a strong passion for effective forensic practice who believe individuals within our justice system have the capacity to change. We also look for students who demonstrate maturity, understand the importance of self-care and self-reflection, are committed to their learning, and are open to discuss the specific challenges they may face during placement.
