Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the finance function, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.

You will be responsible for delivering timely and insightful analysis to enable effective decision-making by wider business and finance stakeholders. This will involve leveraging your critical and analytical thinking capabilities to reimagine existing accounting and assurance processes, challenge the status quo, and utilise tools that improve operational efficiency.

In this role, you will act as a business partner to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including IT and finance teams, to improve transparency and uplift self-serve capabilities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Completion of P&L and Balance Sheet assurance activities, producing timely, relevant and accurate reporting and analysis to proactively manage financials.
  • Process Management and Continuous Improvement: Support streamlining of accounting and assurance processes through innovation and leverage tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Support various strategic initiatives, such as reconciliation uplift and automation projects.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment and provide financial/accounting support for projects and ongoing financial management.
  • Compliance and Governance: Support audit and governance related activities, ensuring all accounting practices comply with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.
About You
  • Strong technical accounting experience, including knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience in financial systems and IT tools/processes to optimise data analysis, transformation and reporting.
  • Critical and analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to gather data, analyse information and translate analysis into actions and decisions.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or CA/CPA qualification.
