We are seeking a skilled and caring Home Care Specialist to join our team at BaptistCare. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support to clients with their daily living activities, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working independently and have strong communication skills. As a Home Care Specialist, you will:

  • Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Assist with household cleaning and laundry;
  • Prepare meals and assist with eating;
  • Transport clients to appointments and social events;
  • Offer emotional support and companionship;
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as changing linens and tidying up;
  • Administer medication (where applicable).

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with third-party property damage insurance;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Empathy and patience when interacting with clients;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification.
