We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Care Worker in the Randwick area. As a valued member of our KinCare family, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults and their families.

Salary: $29.51-$31.04 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, plus Super, making it an attractive option for those looking for a fulfilling career with excellent compensation.

About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position that offers guaranteed hours close to home. You will be working as part of a dynamic team, providing tailored in-home care services that cater to the diverse needs of our customers. Your day will be filled with purpose, as you assist with daily tasks, provide social support, and help clients maintain their independence.

Responsibilities
  • Domestic Assistance: Ensure the homes of our customers are clean and safe, promoting a sense of comfort and well-being.
  • Personal Care: Assist with activities such as bathing, dressing, and managing medications, all while respecting the dignity and autonomy of each individual.
  • Social Support: Engage in conversation, provide companionship, and accompany clients to appointments, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with our team to develop personalized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each customer.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, as travel is an essential aspect of this position.
  • The ability to work independently, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to overcome challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build rapport with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Availability to work at least three days a week, Monday to Friday.

Estimated Salary Range: $58,000 - $62,000 per year, based on 20 hours of work per week.
