Job Title: Transactional Tax Attorney

We are seeking an experienced transactional tax attorney to lead our growing national tax practice. This individual will have a strong track record of success in structuring mergers, acquisitions and minority investment transactions, forming private equity, venture capital and real estate funds, as well as SPVs and other investment vehicles.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in partnership and corporate tax, including drafting operating agreements and limited partnership agreements. Experience with executive and other equity-based compensation is highly desirable but not necessary.

This role is part of our Corporate, Tax & Transactions service line and can be based in various offices. However, for the right candidate, we are open to a hybrid/remote position.

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
  • Minimum 5+ years' tax law experience (private practice preferred)
  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred
  • Active bar license in any state
