Job Title:

Transactional Tax Specialist

Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a seasoned transactional tax professional to lead our growing national tax practice. The ideal candidate will have practiced for at least 8 years, with experience ranging from structuring mergers and acquisitions to forming private equity and real estate funds.

This tax specialist will be part of our Corporate, Tax & Transactions service line, and can be based in various offices across the United States. However, for the right candidate, we would be open to a hybrid/remote position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead our national tax practice
  • Structure mergers and acquisitions
  • Form private equity and real estate funds
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services
  • Maintain relationships with clients and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Minimum 5+ years' tax law experience (private practice preferred)
  • LL.M. in Taxation preferred
  • Active bar license in any state
