We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our Property Management team as a Junior Property Manager.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and highly respected real estate agency, servicing the inner northern suburbs within the Merri-bek (Moreland) council area and surrounding regions. We are committed to delivering exceptional property management services and fostering long-term relationships with our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Senior Property Managers with day-to-day management of residential properties, conducting routine, entry, and final property inspections, handling and responding to tenant inquiries in a timely and professional manner, coordinating maintenance requests and liaising with tradespeople, preparing lease agreements and processing rental applications, and ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act and other relevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist Senior Property Managers with property management tasks.
- Conduct property inspections and report on findings.
- Respond to tenant inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Liaise with tradespeople and contractors to arrange maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare and process lease agreements and rental applications.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Property or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
- Fully paid training and development opportunities.
- Ongoing mentorship and support from experienced Senior Property Managers.
