A High-Performing HR Strategist

  • This is a leadership role that requires the ability to develop and implement comprehensive human resources strategies.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HR strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving business outcomes through strategic people management practices.

About the Role

The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for developing and implementing human resources strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.

You will work closely with senior leaders to design and deliver HR strategies that drive business outcomes, manage employee relations, support enterprise agreement negotiations, and enable collaboration, diversity, and inclusion.

This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to influence at all levels.

The successful candidate will be able to balance business needs with HR strategy, demonstrate commercial acumen, and make sound decisions that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Strategic HR Initiatives: Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.

Partner with Leaders: Work closely with senior leaders to design and deliver HR strategies that drive business outcomes.

Employee Relations: Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and talent development.

Negotiation: Support enterprise agreement negotiations and lead cross-functional teams to achieve business outcomes.

Collaboration: Enable collaboration, diversity, and inclusion within the organization.

Talent Management: Drive attraction, retention, and talent management initiatives to meet business needs and workforce planning requirements.

Reporting and Analytics: Manage HR data, analytics, and reporting to measure success and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

Education: Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Law, or a related discipline.

Experience: A minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior HR generalist role, with at least 5 years in a HR Business Partnering capacity.

Skills: Strong background in employee relations, performance management, talent planning, and HR analytics. Ability to partner with and influence senior leaders, providing pragmatic advice and coaching through change, conflict, and organisational transformation.

Commercial Acumen: Commercial awareness and the ability to balance business needs with HR strategy.

Decision-Making: Strong decision-making and problem-solving capability with a pragmatic approach.

Communication: Confident communicator with excellent advisory, coaching, and negotiation skills.
