About the Role:

This position is responsible for providing strategic advice to optimise mine ventilation and contribute to its overall value.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning, implementing and monitoring underground mine ventilation and gas drainage systems.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex ventilation problems and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and safety protocols.
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH TECHNICAL EXPERTS AND INFLUENCE DECISION-MAKING PROCESS.
Key Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications recognised by Queensland authorities.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in an underground coal mining operation.
  • Expertise in ventilation principles and ability to develop creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Strong background in hazard identification and risk assessment methodologies.
