The role of Enrolled Nurse at Sydney Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospital is a critical part in the delivery of exceptional care to patients. As an integral member of the interdisciplinary team, you will play a key role in ensuring that person-centred care is provided to every individual.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
- Assisting in quality, efficient, and effective person-centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Providing information and education to patients and their families or carers
- Recognising normal and abnormal observations in assessments, interventions, and evaluations of individual health and functional status
- Communicating effectively with patients and carers to ensure understanding of service delivery processes and clinical interventions
- Consulting and liaising with healthcare professionals within the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care
- Maintaining clear and concise patient records to meet legislative requirements
- Utilising a systematic approach to assess, analyse, and propose alternatives to resolve patient care issues
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with AHPRA with Medication endorsement
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an operating theatre setting
- Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to identify key messages and concerns
- Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team and uphold professional and ethical boundaries
- Current computer skills and ability to use health information systems
