Project Support Specialist

The Reconnecting River Country Program is a key initiative aiming to enhance environmental health through flexible water delivery for environmental purposes.

This program involves reconnecting rivers to wetlands and floodplains by collaborating with First Nations people, landholders, and the broader community to achieve comprehensive outcomes.

The Project Support Specialist will provide project coordination and support within NSW's Reconnecting River Country Program to contribute to project success and achievement of organisational objectives.

  • Supporting project teams with monitoring, reporting, and administration
  • Assisting with project planning, documentation, and record management
  • Undertaking research and analysis
  • Communicating with stakeholders

To excel in this role, you will have experience delivering multiple support activities aligned with agreed standards and objectives while working under tight deadlines and competing demands.

Key skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling effective diplomacy and judgment when interacting with various representatives, industry participants, and community members.

We seek a team-oriented individual motivated by collaborative work towards achieving project objectives and team goals, with the ability to work autonomously as required.

This position is based in Albury or Wagga Wagga and offers a hybrid work arrangement. Salary information is available upon request.
