About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker to join our team at headspace Bankstown.

As a Clinical Services Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing Medicare-funded clinical services to young people in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with young people, families, and diverse communities, and will be committed to delivering high-quality services that promote mental health and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to young people
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide focused psychological interventions
  • Liaise with external providers, including GPs and schools

Requirements:

  • Registration with AHPRA or AASW as a Registered Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
  • Eligibility to provide services under Medicare and willingness to bulk bill
  • Strong clinical experience working with young people and diverse communities
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
